Best burger in Fremont. Idk wtf anybody else is saying but the flavor... delicious. The staff... friendly. Their love for burgers show and now I don't get burgers anywhere else in Fremont. It really reminds me of bobs burgers... for those that know they used to be a Fremont staple. These smash burgers take me back to a time when I used to go to Bob's Burgers and it just makes me happy. lol get the double stack with grilled onions and bacon. Stupid delicious

Came here on a Friday night and there were about 2 parties ahead of us. There were no fries available so we just got double smashburgers. The wait time was about 30 minutes for 4 burgers which seemed like a long time considering there were only 2 parties ahead of us. The orders were also mixed up as I asked for no pickles and ended up getting pickles on mine. For the burgers, I would give them a 4/5. The sauce was pretty good and the patties were cooked well. The size of the burgers was also bigger than I was expecting and they did match the $11 price point. However, I would give the service a 3/5 due to the slowness of getting our food as well as the mix up of orders and ingredients.

It's their last day at this location (Alder) and I'm so glad that I was able to try it just to appreciate their food truck. They will be moving to Washington area so good to know that they will still be around. As always, the smash burger is a great smash very flavorful... The burger was more filling than it looked. I got the single burger bun and I was pretty full and my boyfriend got the double with beef bacon. The Cajun fries was pretty good and pretty reasonable at three dollars however, I understand that the Cajun flavor is not for everyone so watch out for that. It would've been better if they had an option for garlic fries. Eating the burger is a messy experience so it's cool that this is an outdoor location. They also had a foot pump faucet to clean your hands before and after eating. 10/10!

Love The Burger Shop! We have been here multiple times since moving to the East Bay and it is so so good every time. The menu is simple - smashburgers (single, double or triple) and fries, with a few available add ons like grilled onions and bacon. I always get the single and fries plus a side of sauce. The burger is always juicy with crispy edges, and the flavor is great especially paired with their special sauce. Everything always comes out fresh and hot. The fries are always perfectly crisp and the Cajun seasoning they sprinkle on top provides a nice little kick (though it may be a little spicy for those that have a low heat tolerance. 1/5 is their last day at the current location and then they will be relocating to another location in Fremont!!

Located next to a Flower shop, this little burger spot has a vibe for late night bites in fremont. Came here on a random night for a chicken sandwich and there wasn't much people waiting around so I thought the order would be fairly quick. I had ordered the Chicken Sandwich and a side of Cajan fries. It took 30 minutes to get which perplexed me but I guess it takes longer to fry chicken. They have a beautiful set up with lights illuminating the area along with tables for customers to eat at. Which was really nice and what I ended up doing as I didn't want the food to get cold. The first bite into their Cajan Fries had the taste buds on my tongue dancing, when they say "Seasoned to Perfection" they meant it. As for the Chicken Sandwich, the buns were typical but the Chicken and Shredded lettuce with the sauce definitely carried the experience. Next time i'm coming back for the Burger as alot of people have mentioned it's really solid

First time trying out the burger shop. We ordered through DoorDash for pickup (since they don't take phone orders) and we got the order fairly quick. Pretty good burger with the sauce! Very juicy and flavorful. They cook their meat halal smashburger style. The edges are nice and crispy with a meaty center. It looked like majority of it is outdoor seating, so we didn't want to eat in the cold. Better to take to go if you're looking for a quick dinner at night!

Saw a lot of hype for this place on social media and decided to try it on a Saturday night, it wasn't too busy. Ambiance: It's a nice outdoor area with picnic benches, it does get cold at night so wear a jacket. It's located next to a flower shop, the burger truck is located right in the corner. Service: The guy taking the order was friendly Single cheeseburger $9 (3.8/5): Ordered it with grilled onions ($1) and the burger was good. It's a little soft in texture but I do taste the crispy edges from a smashed patty. The portions were smaller than I expected and felt light. If you're hungry and typically eat a single cheeseburger, I recommend going for a double cheeseburger ($11). The value of what you're getting from the burger is what prevents it from getting a higher rating. It's a good burger but not an amazing burger Fries (4/5): They come in a cup and they are well seasoned with some spice. Pretty tasty and had a good crisp Overall, I wouldn't come back here just to eat unless maybe conveniently in the area.

Let's all go to The Burger Shop! It'll for sure make your tastebuds pop. The flavors all hit the spot. You may want to make a stop, go! The Burger Shop really stands out as one of the few halal smashburger joints around. Their menu is simple and shows their focus on their craft, the grilled burger patties. You have the option of a single patty, double patty, or triple patty in addition to their sides of fries and sauces. Each patty is topped with cheese and each burger is packed with onions, lettuce, and their special sauce. If you haven't tried a smashburger before, you'll be in for a treat. Unlike their thick, slightly medium done patty cousins, these patties are "smashed" and accelerate their cooking time while garnering a nice char on the edges and maintaining a juicy center. The flatter profile also makes taking a bite from these monster burgers an easier feat which rounds out the flavor a lot better ensuring each bite has all the ingredients. The Burger Shop has good looking burgers and once you start biting into them, you'll appreciate how well packed they are. The sauce does get a bit messy but if you're like me, it's probably because you're enjoying that burger from all ends and at a pace that's not normal for a regular meal. These burgers will make you drool before, during, and after you've eaten. Now the fries are another highlight of theirs. Cajun fries served in a cup for those looking to eat on the go or in the parking lot with the fries in the cup holder of their cars. The skinny fries are well seasoned with their Cajun spices which give a bit of a kick to your meal. They don't maintain their crispiness too well so eat them fresh! Everything is served in biodegradable packaging so minimal waste! Despite that, the boxes the burgers come in are sturdy and protects that delicious precious inside. Located close to American High School, I am surprised they don't get more foot traffic but this little gem is sure to shine once discovered. Overall, The Burger Shop is their namesake and more. Being likely the first halal burger shop in this area, they've paved their way as the leader in this niche market. But even if you're not specifically looking for halal, their burgers will still certainly satisfy those cravings. Come on by and find their little blue shack! Be sure to come hungry!

In case you haven't been around, Fremont been kind of been going through a burger revolution. Lots of burger joints have been opening up here over the past few years, with a lot of them having a lot of initial success due to being halal. I was recommended this place by a friend who said "it is the best burger in Fremont." Well, that's high praise, so we decided to check out this place. FOOD The Burger Shop has a very simple menu and all you have to decided is on how many patties you want in your burger. Grilled onions are extra charge. Fries and canned soda are also available. Burgers are halal. I got a double with grilled onions and I have to say this is one great smashburger. No frills with all of the flavor. I always love to use In N Out as the example to beat when it comes to quality, cost, and quantity and I have to say this holds up to it. The burger doesn't have as many fillings, but it's about 25% larger than an In N Out burger. But, it tastes better! One downside though is that the burger is a bit greasy, so make sure you have napkins on hand. I cannot emphasize just how good their burgers are. Fries are very well seasoned and have a slight kick. The size of the individual fries though is small; doesn't take away from it, but it's just interesting to mention. Portion size is perfect. SERVICE They are a food truck, but they have a table set up in front to take your order. Place your order with the server. It takes about 10 minutes for them to finish your order and they will call out your name when it is finished. Friendly and fast service, so no complaints. Only downside is that they are only open for dinner, which is why it took me so long to try this place out! COST A double runs $11, but if you just want a single, it is $9. For the extra hungry, a triple ran $15. Fries are $3 and if you want grilled onions on your burger, it is an extra $1. Overall, the prices are very reasonable and I'd say the fries are on the cheaper side as well. We got two doubles and two fries and I think it ended up being around $30 or so. SETTING The Burger Shop is located in a small parking lot of a flower shop just across the street from American High School. There is a pretty nice seating area with tables if you want to sit down and eat your burger after you get it. The parking lot is not too big though, so if it is busy, you might need to street park. Great for a casual date or hanging out with friends. Overall, this lives up to the best burger in Fremont. Only knock I'd give this place is their limited hours, but other than that, this place is a must-try if you are in the Fremont area. I'm still thinking about this burger the day after. 5/5
